The David Beckham Bodywear collection for H&M is, obviously, for men, but in the spirit of borrowing from the boys, we're making it an exception so we have an excuse to wear what David designed. Even his Modern Essentials collection for men doesn't stop the whole world – man, woman or dog – from being a copy cat.

Also, David makes a compelling case for his very comfortable pieces.

"Everything about my Bodywear for H&M has to be authentic. If I wouldn't wear it then it doesn't go in the collection! " he said.

His involvement in the collection isn't touch-and-go. He puts a lot of thought into every piece and prioritises practicality over looks, though he could design a pillowcase and we'd still think it's gorgeous.

"I want to choose a range that has great quality and design but is affordable," he added. "I'm always trying to evolve the Bodywear collection, and include classic pieces like sweaters and track pants that I would wear out or at home."

The collection hits select stores in Malaysia from 25 February, and prices range from RM59.90 for tank tops to RM149 for sweatpants. Forget about shopping for your man, you'll want some of these slouchy pieces for your own lazy days at home.
