The 17th edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion will take place from the 1st to the 5th of February 2016, when the best Catalan brands and designers will show their collections for the Autumn-Winter 2016-17. 

In its aim to open iconic spaces to fashion and citenzship, on this occasion the setting will be the Casa Llotja de Mar, an historic building originally built more than six centuries ago located in the waterfront, in the city center, that takes over other iconic locations like the Maritime Museum and Sant Pau Modernist Complex.

Casa Llotja de Mar is an exceptional setting thanks to its important historic and heritage value. Through its long life span, it has been a privileged witness of Catalonia’s evolution in economy, architecture and art. It was built originally in the late XIV century to be home to the commercial class but throughout the years it has accomplished other functions while suffering different extensions. 

After undergoing a deep rehabilitation in the late nineties, nowadays it is considered the best example of the Neogothic architectonic style in Barcelona and is home to the Cambra de Comerç, Indústria I Navegació de Barcelona. Nonetheless, next February it will show a different face thanks to the catwalk shows but also to the 080 Fashion Market, which one can already sign up for.
